| FAQ Q: How do i know i will get my stuff ? A: To date our Postal Courier has not lost a single package. Q: What's included in the distros ? A: Hundreds if not thousands of applications, including web browsers, e-mail clients, open office and a large number of server applications. Q: Why are the discs so expensive if Linux is "free" ? A: It is not a simple matter of just burning the discs and shipping them and hoping for the best. The discs are individually tested. Bandwidth costs are also very high. The operating system is free, you are paying for the labour and materials. Q: I'm looking for a specific product but can't find it on your site. A: Special requests take up to 3 days as we queue them and have to be prepaid. Q: I found the product I want to buy but I have seen it cheaper on another South African Website. Will you adjust your price? A: Sure we will gladly look at any price where you've found a product cheaper somewhere else. We will do anything in our power to try to keep our customers happy. Q: How long will it take for AMPPOL IT to delivery my goods ? A: If you wish to collect we have stock of all the popular distros. Shipping is overnight if payment is received before 11H30. Q: How do refunds work? A: There are no refunds as the discs can be copied, in the unlikely event the disc is defective we will replace it free of charge. Q: Will the Linux operating system i purchase work on my computer ? A: Google is your friend, find out if your hardware is compatible before purchasing.
